Independence

Studying abroad provides unique life experiences, strengthening independence and problem-solving skills, key traits for professional success.

Real-life experience

I have had the privilege of interacting with an international environment. Coming from Peru and studying at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, I sought opportunities to broaden my horizons after finishing high school. I considered various options for continuing my education abroad to gain a fresh perspective, engage with diverse cultures, and connect with people who, like me, have chosen to study far from their families and friends. This experience has been particularly meaningful as I pursue a degree in International Business Administration, where understanding global dynamics is essential.

I have had the opportunity to continue my studies with a semester-long exchange at the University of Ottawa in Canada. It's a completely different experience from what I was used to in the Netherlands, with differences in study methods—more assignments and smaller, participation-driven classes—along with new cultural, language, and many other factors. Additionally, I am living a more independent life, which is proving invaluable for my growth, both professionally and personally.
